Yogyastone

A creamy white stone from Java, harder than Parastone (Bali sandstone used in temples) and softer than Lavastone, so that it can be carved in greater detail, thus alowing the carver to create beautiful images. Its softness, along with the fact that it is stone, thus heavy, creates probems with safe and easy shipping, but so many wonderful images have been created in this material that we are including it on this site.
